Vincenzo De Cotiis
Vincenzo De Cotiis (born 1958) is an Italian artist, architect, and interior designer whose Milan-based studio designs superyacht interiors alongside luxury retail projects for Burberry. An AD100 honoree and Elle Deco International Design Award winner, his work belongs to the 'collectible design' movement.
Italian Maestro of Collectible Design
Vincenzo De Cotiis was born in Gonzaga, Italy in 1958. After studying architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 1997, he founded Vincenzo De Cotiis Architects and Gallery in Milan with his wife Claudia Rose De Cotiis . His work, described as belonging to the 'collectible design' aesthetic movement, has earned comparisons to Italian maestros Gio Ponti and Carlo Scarpa .
Superyacht Design and Recognition
De Cotiis has designed interiors for superyachts, with vessels making their debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022 . He featured on Architectural Digest's AD100 list of Top 100 designers worldwide in 2021, 2022, and 2023, described as 'following in the footsteps of Italian maestros like Gio Ponti and Carlo Scarpa.'
