Monaco Yacht Show 2025: Azzurra Linea36

At the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, Van Oossanen joined Italian studio Giamboi Designs and Italian yard Tureddi Yachts to unveil the Azzurra Linea36 Custom Platform. This 36m model builds on the Azzurra Series concept first presented in April 2025, combining Giamboi's Italian design DNA with Van Oossanen's Dutch precision. Perry van Oossanen emphasized that the collaboration involved complete re-engineering: 'The hull form, performance envelope, weight distribution, and internal volumes have all been re-engineered for this yacht—ensuring efficiency and customization in every detail'.

Integration of Form and Function

The Azzurra Linea36 leverages Van Oossanen's FDHF to deliver enhanced efficiency and comfort while enabling Giamboi's reimagined deck layouts, including a panoramic owner's suite and a rare upper-deck VIP cabin. The flush aft deck and redefined transom simplify operations without compromising the expansive exterior areas and forward-facing pool. This collaboration exemplifies Van Oossanen's role as a technical enabler, allowing designers and shipyards to push lifestyle boundaries on a foundation of proven naval architecture.
