Reymond Langton Design
Reymond Langton Design, founded in 2001 by Pascale Reymond and Andrew Langton, is a leading British superyacht design studio whose collaborations with Abeking & Rasmussen include Aviva, Eminence, Bravado, Excellence V, Amaryllis, and Titan, shaping the German yard's modern identity.
Founding and Philosophy
Pascale Reymond and Andrew Langton established Reymond Langton Design in 2001, with Jason Macaree joining as director in 2002, creating one of Britain's most influential superyacht design studios. Their philosophy combines artistic vision with technical expertise to exceed client expectations through timely, budget-conscious delivery without compromising quality. The studio handles both interior and exterior design, creating strongly individualized concepts for some of the world's largest yachts.
Defining Partnership with Abeking & Rasmussen
Reymond Langton has left an indelible mark on Abeking & Rasmussen's modern history. Their collaborations include the nearly 100m Aviva (2017), a masterpiece combining dynamic design with a revolutionary full-size padel tennis court. The 78m Eminence features a distinctive 'whale tail' mast and modern Art Deco interior with ebony, steel, and leather. Other projects include the 44.9m Bravado, 60m Excellence V for repeat client Herb Chambers, Amaryllis blending Art Nouveau and Belle Époque elements, and 80m Titan.
Studio Legacy and Approach
Andrew Langton's design journey began at university with a gas-turbine hydrofoil concept, while Pascale Reymond's first yacht experience came aboard the 125m classic Savarona in 1989, designing a Turkish bath. Stina Krause, Head of Marketing at Abeking & Rasmussen, describes the team as 'charming vagabonds of the yacht circus' whose work is impossible to ignore. The studio's 93m Lady S (2019) appears in De Klerk's records, confirming continued output.
