Studio Marco Arnaboldi
Marco Arnaboldi, celebrated for designing the world's fastest diesel-powered yachts, founded Studio Arnaboldi in 1992 providing engineering consultancy to over 150 shipyards including Sanlorenzo and Pershing. In 2022, he launched Centouno Yachts, applying racing DNA and advanced composites to create sustainable high-performance yachts like the Vespro 55 and Aria 78.
A Legacy of Speed and Innovation
Marco Arnaboldi is a celebrated Italian naval architect whose career spans decades of pushing performance boundaries. His legacy includes designing the world's fastest diesel-powered yachts, with his designs ranking 1st to 4th fastest diesel-engine yachts globally. In the 1990s, he founded AB Yachts with his father Angelo, pioneering waterjet propulsion and composite planing yachts.
Studio Arnaboldi and Global Consultancy
In 1992, Arnaboldi established Studio Arnaboldi, an engineering consultancy that has collaborated with over 150 shipyards worldwide, including Sanlorenzo, Mangusta, Pershing, and ISA Yachts. This extensive experience across the industry's leading builders informed his comprehensive understanding of yacht design, engineering, and production.
In 2010, he launched Wooden Boats, a tender brand combining classic wood construction with carbon and Kevlar composites for strength, lightness, and elegance—foreshadowing his later commitment to advanced materials.
Centouno Yachts: A Bold New Chapter
In 2022, Arnaboldi founded Centouno Yachts in Viareggio, embodying a philosophy where performance meets elegance and speed becomes sustainable. The name Centouno (101) represents a bold restart—one step beyond the limit. Every Centouno yacht is built from advanced composite materials, engineered for weight optimization, balance, and hydrodynamic efficiency, fusing high performance with refined Italian design.
The fleet includes the 17m Vespro 55 fast daycruiser with 56-knot top speed, the 24m Aria 78 performance cruiser balancing luxury with long-range efficiency, and the forthcoming 30m Forza 100 exceeding 60 knots. Arnaboldi's philosophy 'Fast is Green' achieves 30% lighter construction than competitors, 50% CO₂ reduction, and fully recyclable materials.
