The Italian Sea Group

The Italian Sea Group (TISG) is a global luxury yachting operator, the first builder in Italy for yachts over 50 metres and the second worldwide. Under the Admiral, Tecnomar, Perini Navi, and Picchiotti brands, TISG designs and constructs superyachts up to 140 metres, with notable collaborations including Giorgio Armani and Automobili Lamborghini.

Global Leader in Italian Yacht Building

The Italian Sea Group S.p.A. (TISG) is a global operator in the luxury yachting industry, specialized in the construction and refit of motor and sailing yachts up to 140 metres. The Group is the first builder in Italy for yachts over 50 metres and the second worldwide, ranking among the global top five shipyards by total length under construction according to the BOATPro Global Order Book 2025. Listed on the Euronext Star Milan since June 2021, TISG operates from its headquarters in Marina di Carrara, with additional production hubs in La Spezia, Viareggio, Terni, and Turkey [citation:1][citation:3]. The Group's portfolio includes four prestigious brands: Admiral (elegant custom and semi-custom motor yachts), Tecnomar (high-performance sport yachts), Perini Navi (world-renowned large sailing yachts), and Picchiotti (historic Italian brand now focused on explorer yachts).

Strategic Growth and Acquisitions

Founded and led by CEO Giovanni Costantino, TISG has grown through strategic acquisitions: Tecnomar in 2009, Admiral in 2011, Perini Navi and Picchiotti in 2021, the historic CELI joinery in 2023, and the NCA Refit business unit for yachts over 60 metres. This vertically integrated model brings most activities in-house—carpentry, steelworks, joinery, and upholstery—ensuring exceptional quality control [citation:2]. The Group's workforce reached approximately 700 employees in 2024, with 75% non-Italian, reflecting its international reach [citation:2][citation:5][citation:10]. Shareholders include GC Holding (53.6%), Alychlo N.V. (11.4%), and Giorgio Armani S.p.A. (4.99%).

High-Profile Collaborations: Armani and Lamborghini

TISG has pioneered collaborations between yachting and luxury brands. The partnership with Giorgio Armani produced the 72-metre megayacht Admiral | Giorgio Armani, delivered in December 2025. Armani developed the complete interior and exterior concept, featuring essential elegance, a 140 sqm Owner's Suite, and a dramatic 5-metre pool with a skylight filtering light to the deck below. Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio purchased the yacht after seeing it at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025. A second Armani-designed model is forthcoming.

Since 2020, TISG has collaborated with Automobili Lamborghini on the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a 63-foot limited-edition yacht inspired by Lamborghini supercars, achieving 60 knots. The evolution, Tecnomar for Lamborghini 101FT (30m), unveiled at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, reaches 45 knots and features design elements from the Lamborghini Fenomeno.

Award-Winning Design and Sustainability

At the 2025 ISS Design Awards, TISG won two prestigious honours: MY Admiral Platinum 78m received 'Best in Motor' (1000–3000 GT category) with exterior by Lobanov Design and interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design; MY Admiral JAS 66m won 'Best Interior', designed in collaboration with Mark Berryman and interiors by CELI 1920 [citation:8]. Sustainability is a core focus, with 70% of vessels in production being hybrids. TISG joined the UN Global Compact in May 2023, committing to responsible business practices.
