Francois Zuretti

Francois Zuretti, dubbed the 'God of Interior Design' by Benetti clients, began his career designing Moroccan royal palaces before entering yachting in 1987. His Nice-based studio has collaborated with Benetti since 1995 on projects including Ambrosia, Saga, and the Classic series, winning multiple ShowBoats Awards for vessels like Eco, Ambrosia II, and Linda Lou.

From Royal Palaces to Superyachts

Francois Zuretti began his remarkable career in 1975 with Triad Condas, a Paris-based Lebanese company specializing in architecture and interior design for Middle Eastern palaces . He then spent nine years in Morocco overseeing interiors for Royal residences and parliaments under the King . George Nicholson introduced Zuretti to the yachting world in 1987, and by 2001 he had relocated his studio from Geneva to Nice on the French Riviera, where it remains today . Dubbed the 'God of Interior Design' by a Benetti yacht lover and long-time client, Zuretti focuses on creating breathtaking maritime-living concepts with particular attention to onboard comfort and ideal sleep experiences .

Benetti Collaboration and Notable Projects

Since 1995, Zuretti has maintained a long and prosperous collaboration with Benetti, producing custom designs including Ambrosia and Saga, and contributing to the Benetti Classic, Tradition, and Vision series . The FB231 Ambrosia explores Art Deco themes through rich decorations and artisanal details: cherry wood, teak, goat and buffalo leather, mother-of-pearl, bamboo, and gold and silver leaf . The yacht features a Stargate room on the Upper Deck with a domed ceiling depicting constellations of both hemispheres . The Project LIFE 85M Concept showcases Zuretti's ability to balance decor and color, enhancing luminosity through elegant materials, ceiling heights, and curved lines that connect interior and exterior .

Broader Portfolio and Awards

Beyond Benetti, Zuretti has worked with leading shipyards including Lürssen, Feadship, Royal Van Lent, and Oceanco . Legendary projects include the interior of Eco alongside designer Martin Francis, and Shamwari in Viareggio which cemented his relationship with the Azimut Benetti group . Other completed custom designs include Princess Mariana, Pestifer I and II, Lady Christina, Amadeus, Apoise, and Imagination . Over two decades, Zuretti has won multiple ShowBoats Awards for projects including Eco, Ambrosia II, Lady Lola, Linda Lou, and Ambrosia III .
