Archea Associati

Archea Associati, the Italian architectural studio led by Marco Casamonti, made its yachting debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 with the AB 95, a 28.45m yacht for AB Yachts featuring a distinctive inverted bow and a focus on materiality and light.

Architectural Precision Meets Nautical Performance

Archea Associati, the renowned Italian architectural studio founded by Marco Casamonti, made a significant entry into the yachting world with the design of the AB 95. Presented as a world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, the 28.45-metre yacht was developed in collaboration with AB Yachts, part of the Next Yacht Group. The project represents a dialogue between nautical engineering and architectural design, focusing on balance, performance, and comfort.

Exterior and Interior Design

The studio's architectural background is evident in the AB 95's design. The exterior features taut, dynamic lines, highlighted by the inverted angle of the main deck's bow. This design choice not only creates a sporty and measured profile but also enlarges the flybridge, transforming it into a suspended belvedere overlooking the sea. Twin symmetrical staircases aft connect the three decks, creating a rhythmic flow between public and private areas.

Inside, Archea Associati developed a clean, precise, and luminous language. Teak flooring, Italian leathers, and light-colored ceilings establish visual continuity with the sea. A key feature is the main space combining a lounge and kitchen in a unified black lacquered composition, conceived as an integrated cocktail bar. The four lower-deck cabins, including two full-beam, receive the same meticulous attention to proportion and light.
