Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel
Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV) is the acclaimed Milanese architecture studio behind the interior design of Custom Line's Navetta 30, a 28.43m yacht launched in 2020 combining carbon fiber technology with timeless Italian elegance and BIM-driven precision.
Milanese Architecture Meets Yacht Design
Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), the renowned Milanese architecture and design studio, brought its signature attention to detail and material sensibility to the superyacht world through collaboration with Custom Line, the Ferretti Group brand. The studio designed the interior of the Navetta 30, a 28.43m yacht launched in 2020 as the first vessel in the new Custom Line 'Navetta' series, with exterior design by Filippo Salvetti.
BIM-Driven Precision
Patricia Viel, ACPV co-founder, explained that the studio worked closely with engineers and naval architects to develop the interior, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) to perfectly control each volume while harmonizing interior and lighting design with the hull shape. The result is a four-deck yacht combining high-tech materials like carbon fiber with elegant, timeless details. Every piece of furniture was custom-designed to adapt to the hull's curves, maximizing space utilization while maintaining fluid lines.
Material Harmony
The Navetta 30's interior reflects ACPV's philosophy of balancing function and emotion. The main salon features winding lines, teak, and ivory fabrics reinterpreting nautical tradition. Exterior spaces connect seamlessly through wooden walkways with longitudinal black inlays. The lower deck houses two VIP and two guest cabins, each with custom mosaic bathrooms and furniture shaped to the hull. Ferretti Group Chief Commercial Officer Stefano de Vivo described the project as 'a new dimension of design'.
