Alberto Pinto (1943-2012) was a celebrated French interior designer born in Casablanca to Moroccan Sephardic Jewish parents. After attending École du Louvre in Paris, he moved to New York to establish a photography agency specializing in decoration and interior design, which ultimately led him to pursue interior design full-time .

Pinto's Paris-based agency, housed in a 17th-century private residence at Place des Victoires, employed 60 people working on large-scale and atypical projects including private residences, corporations, hotels, yachts, and private jets. Product Design Legacy
Beyond interior design, Pinto created his own home collection encompassing furniture, tableware, linens, and accessories.
