Cantiere delle Marche's RJ wins two Boat International Design & Innovation Awards for exterior and interior design, while Tremenda receives a Judges' commendation. All four yachts delivered by the yard in 2025 were selected as finalists.

Cantiere delle Marche Celebrates Double Win at Boat International Design & Innovation Awards

Cantiere delle Marche announces that RJ (the 155-foot flagship of the eponymous line) has been honoured with two Boat International Design & Innovation Awards — for Outstanding Exterior Design by Francesco Paszkowski and for Best Interior Design by Achille Salvagni. This double triumph marks a milestone of great pride for the Italian shipyard and stands as a powerful recognition of its vision, craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence.

Outstanding Exterior Design: Francesco Paszkowski

The exterior of RJ impressed the judges with its logical deck layout, proportional balance, and exceptional build quality. As one judge remarked: "She has the true explorer capabilities of the CdM but with the appearance of a white ship. She has a certain elegance." Notable details include the fashion plates extending up the superstructure to the hardtop and the glass panel bulwarks. RJ is the fourth yacht in the RJ series, following RJ 130 Nuri and the RJ 115s Stellamar and Pazienza, and is the longest yacht ever built by Cantiere delle Marche.

Best Interior Design: Achille Salvagni

The interior of RJ was described by the judges as "spellbindingly creative," answering the Owners' brief for 'soft minimalism' with plenty of character. Custom pieces include light fixtures built into furniture, architectural lamps hanging like branches, and a dining area ceiling carved to 'recall the ripple created by a stone dropped in still water'. The sculptural staircase was a favourite element. One judge commented: "It's imaginative and it removes you from your every day yet is still consistent and lovely to spend time in. It's like putting some spice in a room that's otherwise very neutral and calming."

Judges' Commendation for Tremenda

Adding to the shipyard's success, Tremenda received a prestigious Judges' commendation. The recognition further multiplies the pride in CdM's extraordinary performance at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards, where all four yachts delivered in 2025 were selected among a distinguished group of finalists.
