Damen Yachting has successfully launched Project Zurich, the third Amels 80, at its facility in Vlissingen-East. The 80-metre superyacht features a 6.5-metre glass-bottomed pool and a spacious beach club, with delivery scheduled for later this year.
Damen Yachting Launches Third Amels 80
On 2 March 2026, Damen Yachting successfully launched Project Zurich, the third Amels 80, at its second build facility in Vlissingen-East. The 80-metre superyacht will now move to the company's main Headquarters in Vlissingen City for final outfitting, with delivery scheduled for later this year.
Unmatched Features and Design
The Amels 80 boasts a stunning 6.5-metre glass-bottomed pool on the Main Deck Aft, which doubles as a skylight for the Beach Club below. The Beach Club opens on three sides, providing direct sea access and housing a comprehensive wellness area with a gym, hammam, and sauna. The Sun Deck features a substantial jacuzzi, continuing the theme of outdoor luxury.
Rapid Success of the Amels 80 Series
Sold just months after its market introduction in 2022, Project Zurich joins her sister Amels 80 currently in outfitting in Vlissingen, while the first in the series has already been delivered. The simultaneous outfitting of two Amels 80s alongside an Amels Full Custom, several Amels 60s, and refit projects underscores the strong demand for this design.
