Overmarine Group Sells First Mangusta Oceano 52
Overmarine Group has announced the sale of the first hull in the Mangusta Oceano 52 line. Becoming the new flagship among the shipyard's steel and aluminium displacement yachts, this 52-metre model introduces a revolutionary layout concept for vessels below 500 GT and is set to become a benchmark in its class.
Design and Innovation
Created by Overmarine's Engineering Department and designer Alberto Mancini, the Mangusta Oceano 52 is a bold evolution of the predecessor models Mangusta Oceano 39 and Mangusta Oceano 44. It offers unparalleled volumes and spaces while preserving the brand's signature clean lines, constant visual contact with the sea, and harmonious connection between exterior and interior areas. The onboard atmosphere rivals that of a 60-metre vessel, with the 'in & out living' concept reaching its highest expression.
Owner's Vision
The first Mangusta Oceano 52 was purchased by an experienced South American Owner, attracted by its flawless combination of comfort, privacy, and style. The master stateroom, located forward on the upper deck, features floor-to-ceiling glazing offering 180° panoramic views and opens onto a private terrace with a 'Mangusta Signature' infinity pool. The lounge-patio on the main deck is configured as a fitness area, enhancing the sense of relaxation and wellbeing.
Flexible Configuration
The Mangusta Oceano 52 stands out for its extraordinary modularity, offering a flexible design platform. The Owner chose one of twelve possible configurations, with two VIP cabins (one fitted as an office) on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck. Stefano Arlunno, President of Mangusta Americas, stated: "The Mangusta Oceano 52 marks a momentous step in the expansion of our range. Its innovative design and functional solutions redefine onboard living and will make this new model a benchmark in the below-500 GT segment."
Delivery and Cooperation
Delivery of the yacht is scheduled for spring 2027. The sale was secured in cooperation with brokerage house Maspor Marine International, represented by Jorge Saca.
