Melot + Trillo Interiors
Melot + Trillo Interiors is a multidisciplinary design practice founded in 2011 by French interior designer Sandrine Melot and Italian PhD architect Anna Trillo, combining expertise in yacht design with residential and commercial architecture from bases on the French Riviera and Barcelona.
A Franco-Italian Design Partnership
Melot + Trillo Interiors brings together the complementary expertise of two accomplished European designers. Sandrine Melot, a French interior designer with a background in marketing and communication, had already earned a World Superyacht Award in 2006 for her first yacht project before co-founding the studio. Anna Trillo, an Italian-trained architect with a PhD in Urban Design from Milan Polytechnic, brought extensive experience from Barcelona, where she worked with GCA Architects as Designer and Project Leader on the 175ft sailing yacht Nirvana. Their meeting in Barcelona in 2011 led to a shared vision of multidisciplinary creative practice operating from both the French Riviera and Barcelona.
Comprehensive Design Approach
The studio covers everything from yacht design to interior design of residential and commercial spaces. Anna Trillo's academic background includes several publications on architecture and urban design, while Sandrine Melot's capacity to analyse client needs and manage complex projects brings unique living spaces to life that reflect each owner's vision. Their work is characterized by close collaboration with clients from the outset, ensuring that every project is based on genuine understanding of needs and aspirations.
