Luca Dini Design & Architecture
Founded in Florence in 1996, Luca Dini Design & Architecture is an Italian studio that brings a holistic, Renaissance-inspired vision to luxury yacht design and large-scale urban projects.
Luca Dini Design & Architecture, founded in Florence in 1996, operates with a holistic design vision that seamlessly navigates between nautical design and urban planning. The studio, led by Luca Dini, has offices in Florence and Forte dei Marmi and collaborates with some of the most prestigious shipyards in Italy and Europe. Drawing inspiration from Florence's Renaissance heritage of traditional craftsmanship and the pursuit of excellence, the studio transforms visionary ideas into ambitious projects characterized by a new, unique, and diverse style.
From Megayachts to Island Destinations
The studio's ability to interpret the dreams of the most demanding owners has established its reputation not only in yachting but also in international architecture and urban design. A prime example of this is the complete design of Sindalah Island, one of the new destinations in the Red Sea, which includes residences, restaurants, hotels, shops, and a marina. This project, along with coastal developments in Albania, unites architecture and yacht design under a common philosophy: 'always look at the mainland from the sea'.
Distinctive Yacht Projects
This cultural approach is vividly expressed in their yacht designs. For the 55-meter Heesen yacht Agneta, Luca Dini created interiors that embody discreet luxury through meticulous material selection. The atmosphere is warm and traditional, with curated iconic furniture pieces. A unique narrative element was introduced by interpreting four of Shakespeare's most iconic plays as key themes for different interior spaces. In contrast, the studio's work on the Tankoa 55 Loewe is a total project that fully expresses their distinctive stylistic language: decisive and fluid lines, harmoniously sculpted volumes, and full-height glazing that connects interior and exterior spaces.
