WiderCat 92 to Make Italian Debut at Venice Boat Show 2024

Fano, Italy – May 2024 – Wider Yachts proudly announces the Italian premiere of the WiderCat 92, its groundbreaking multihull, at the Venice Boat Show from May 29 to June 2, 2024. This debut marks a key milestone ahead of the yacht's official worldwide launch at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
The WiderCat 92 is the first in a new line of 28-meter hybrid catamarans developed under the visionary leadership of Marcello Maggi, President of W-Fin Sarl, which owns 100% of Wider. Combining avant-garde technology, seamless design, and sustainable performance, the WiderCat 92 is a bold new chapter for the renowned Italian builder.
“The WiderCat 92 is a testament to Wider’s pioneering vision and construction expertise,” said Marcello Maggi. “Wider approaches the yachting market with ambition and the desire to continuously push the boundaries of technological innovation.”
Design Excellence Meets Green Innovation
Designed by Luca Dini Design in partnership with Centro Stile Wider, the WiderCat 92 is a composite-built catamaran that reimagines onboard living. Its serial hybrid propulsion system enables silent, zero-emission cruising, aligning luxury with eco-consciousness.
The interior features two VIP cabins, one guest cabin, and an expansive owner’s suite on the main deck, occupying nearly half of the yacht’s length—an impressive layout that emphasizes space and privacy. Smart use of fold-down bulwarks transforms the tender garage into a spacious aft beach club, while maximizing enjoyment and function.
Partnerships Driving Innovation
Wider’s commitment to digitalization is reinforced through a collaboration with Applied, the developer of the Future Marine software suite. The cutting-edge cockpit interface includes real-time 3D visualizations, enhancing operational efficiency, ease of use, and post-sales support.

Wider’s Expanding Vision
The debut of the WiderCat 92 in Venice underscores the shipyard’s deep connection to the lagoon city, where construction of the 72-meter Moonflower 72 superyacht—a collaboration with Nauta Design—is underway at the Wider Superyacht Hub. Meanwhile, at the Wider Vision Hub in Fano, additional units of the WiderCat 92 and the dynamic WiLder 60 are in progress, signaling further expansion of the Wider model range.
Adding to the excitement, Wider will release a four-part web series, created with The Creative Brothers, offering an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the genesis and evolution of the WiderCat 92.
Wider Yachts invites all visitors, clients, and media representatives to experience the WiderCat 92 at the Venice Boat Show 2024—an icon of innovation, elegance, and sustainable luxury.
