Ancona, May 9, 2023 – Pershing, the renowned Italian yacht builder, is delighted to announce the launch of the third unit of the Pershing 140 on April 29th. This momentous event marks another milestone in the brand’s growing commercial success, reflecting the irresistible allure of the Pershing cruising experience—an electrifying fusion of creativity, design, and cutting-edge technology that continues to captivate yachting enthusiasts worldwide.
A Flagship of Innovation and Style
The Pershing 140 stands as the brand’s first flagship model built entirely from aluminum, heralding a new era in yacht construction. The model is the result of a collaboration between celebrated architect Fulvio De Simoni, Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Group’s Engineering Department. This pioneering yacht is also the first Pershing model to be built at the Super Yacht Yard in Ancona, Ferretti Group's premier production facility dedicated to constructing steel and aluminum super and mega yachts over 40 meters in length.
Design Excellence and Personalization
Spanning two main decks and a spacious sun deck, the Pershing 140’s sleek lines and sporty profile embody the brand’s signature aesthetic. Innovative design elements and iconic details, such as the two side wings integrated into the superstructure at the start of the walkways, make this model truly unique and in high demand.
The raised bridge on the main deck offers direct access to the sun deck, which can be customized with a bar, sunbathing area, and a second helm station. One of the yacht’s most alluring features is the beach club, located aft of the engine room. This area opens up on three sides, providing an intimate connection with the water and a personalized space for the owner’s water toys.
The main deck lounge serves as a seamless transition between the interior and exterior spaces. For the third unit, the owner opted for maximum personalization, including a professional winery in the bow. This illuminated, mirrored space creates captivating optical illusions, enhancing the sense of light throughout. Additionally, the fully appointed bar, hidden behind textured lacquered doors that blend with the lounge décor, adds a touch of elegance and functionality when in use.
The yacht features a full-beam master suite, accessed through a private study that includes a small lounge area. The suite boasts a generous walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious bathroom with a steam shower, adorned with mosaic decorations and finished in a special mother-of-pearl lacquer.
Customized Interiors with a Touch of Luxury
The third unit’s owner chose a Pershing-style interior design with paler color tones, creating a bright and tranquil atmosphere. The interior is dominated by white lacquer, complemented by lead-colored wood in light grey tones, enhancing the relaxing ambiance. The yacht’s interior also features luxurious materials and furnishings from top design brands such as Poltrona Frau, Minotti, Artemide, Roche Bobois, Molteni, and Fontana Arte, underscoring the brand’s commitment to sophisticated aesthetics.
Unmatched Performance
The third Pershing 140 unit is powered by four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each delivering 2,600 hp. True to Pershing’s sporty DNA, this model achieves a top speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots, offering an exhilarating performance on the water.
