THIRD MANGUSTA 165 REV LAUNCHED
Viareggio, 7 May 2024 – Overmarine Group is thrilled to announce the launch of the third unit of the Mangusta 165 REV series, the flagship of the Mangusta Maxi Open line, on Friday, May 3rd. This remarkable yacht combines breathtaking speed with luxurious comfort, achieving a maximum speed of 35 knots thanks to its advanced propulsion system.
Unparalleled Performance
The Mangusta 165 REV’s extraordinary performance is powered by four Rolls Royce 2,600 HP engines, paired with a Kongsberg Kamewa water-jet propulsion system. This cutting-edge technology, combined with Overmarine Group's extensive expertise in composite material construction, ensures that this yacht delivers an exhilarating and smooth cruising experience.
Sophisticated Design and Custom Interiors
The Mangusta 165 REV boasts fully-custom interiors, meticulously designed by M2 Atelier in collaboration with the shipyard’s design team. The exterior design, crafted by Lobanov Design in conjunction with Overmarine’s technical department, reinterprets the classic lines of Mangusta open yachts while optimizing the layout and interior volumes.
A signature feature of the Mangusta 165 REV is the seamless visual connection between the exteriors and interiors, which keeps the Owner and guests constantly connected to the sea. The main deck saloon is distinguished by expansive, floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces, further enhanced by two lateral fold-down balconies that offer an uninterrupted view and a close connection to the surrounding water.
Luxurious Accommodations and Relaxation Spaces
The yacht’s accommodations are equally impressive, with a 92 sq. m. (990 sq./ft.) master stateroom that is unmatched in size for yachts under 499 GT. This stateroom is elegantly integrated into the hull, creating a sophisticated and harmonious design. The lower deck is dedicated to guest accommodations, offering five spacious and comfortable cabins.
Outdoor living is elevated with a forward lounge area complete with sofas, sunbathing spots, and a Jacuzzi, while the sundeck features a bar area and cozy couches, making it ideal for social gatherings. The Mangusta 165 REV also introduces a reimagined aft beach club, providing a spacious area by the sea, along with a sheltered and fully-equipped space for relaxation. The garage, with side access, offers ample room for a 6-meter tender and two jet skis, ensuring easy handling and storage.
Delivery and Summer Cruising
This stunning vessel will be delivered to her Owner by the end of June, just in time for a summer of cruising in the Mediterranean. The sale of the third hull of the Mangusta Maxi Open flagship was expertly managed by Mangusta Sales Manager Nicolò Strocco.
