Harrison Eidsgaard

Harrison Eidsgaard is a London-based designer responsible for both the interior and exterior design of the 66.25m Feadship superyacht Hampshire (ex. Vanish), launched in 2016. The yacht features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.

Complete Design Authority on a Feadship

Harrison Eidsgaard is a London-based designer who achieved the rare distinction of handling both exterior styling and interior design for a major Feadship custom build. The 66.25m superyacht Hampshire (originally named Vanish) was launched in 2016 at the Feadship yard on Kaag Island. Eidsgaard's comprehensive design scope—from hull proportions to cabinetry—demonstrated his versatility and the confidence placed in him by the original owner, Larry Van Tuyl, and subsequently by Andrew Currie, who acquired the yacht. The vessel is classed by Lloyd's Register and registered in the Cayman Islands.

Technical and Aesthetic Integration

Built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Hampshire features teak decks and a beam of 11.8m with 3.45m draft. Power comes from twin 1,850hp MTU 12V4000 M53 engines. Eidsgaard's design language for Hampshire balances Feadship's tradition of timeless elegance with contemporary proportions and large glazed surfaces. His ability to create coherence between the architectural massing of the exterior and the tactile experience of the interior places him among a select group of designers capable of single-studio authorship of major Feadship projects. The yacht remains a benchmark for 66m custom vessels in the Dutch fleet.
