The Biggest New Yachts at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show
The 2024 Monaco Yacht Show brings a dazzling array of newly delivered and innovative mega yachts to Port Hercules for the annual superyacht showcase. All major yacht builders from around the world will present their latest achievements in superyacht construction, design, and technology. This year’s show will feature more than 110 luxury motor yachts from the world’s most renowned builders. Here are a few highlights making their debut to the public for the first time:
122 m Lurssen Kismet
The 122-meter Lurssen yacht, Kismet, is one of the headliners of the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show. Delivered to her owner, Shahid Khan, in May 2024, Khan previously owned the 95.2-meter Lürssen yacht, Whisper (formerly Kismet). Reymond Langton Design handled the interior, while the exteriors were designed by Nuvolari Lenard. Kismet is one of the world’s most expensive yachts for charter, asking €3,000,000 per week through Cecil Wright & Partners. Luxurious amenities include a helipad, beauty salon, indoor and outdoor cinemas, a dance floor, and a gym, ensuring a lavish experience for guests.
58 m Pink Shadow
Measuring 58 meters in length, Pink Shadow is an explorer yacht with go-anywhere capabilities. Part of the newly launched SeaXplorer range, she is the third vessel delivered in 2023, with a 60-meter SeaXplorer also in build and available for sale. Pink Shadow’s ice-class hull and 30-day ocean-going autonomy allow her to reach remote destinations often inaccessible to other vessels. Accommodating a crew of fifteen and two expedition staff, her custom interior is designed by UK-based studio Design Unlimited, while Azure Yacht Design handled the exterior. Her arsenal of toys includes two large multi-role tenders, road and off-road vehicles, and motorcycles.
58 m Tankoa T580 Diamond Binta
Launched earlier this year, Diamond Binta is a significant achievement for the Italian shipyard. Key features include a forward helideck, spacious aft beach club with fold-down bulwarks, a spa with a massage room, a fly deck gym, and a swimming pool. The garage can accommodate two tenders, including a nine-meter limo tender. The yacht boasts a master suite and five guest cabins, with a unique panoramic corridor on the lower deck connecting the cabins directly to the beach area through a viewable engine room.
53 m Damen Yacht Support YS 53 MY Five Oceans
Details about the YS5302 have been largely secretive since its launch in March 2024. Recently, owner Tommy Allen shared insights about YS53 Five Oceans, which is part of the Damen Yachting Yacht Support series. Tommy Allen, Founder and Director of Five Oceans Global Solutions, aims to incorporate cutting-edge technology and marine exploration while preserving the marine environment. Five Oceans is a versatile platform enabling various activities, as Allen mentioned, “You can sleep on it, fly off it, and move it.”
50 m Custom Line Navetta 50 Asante
Launched in June 2024, the Custom Line Navetta 50 M/Y Asante makes its debut in the metal yacht segment under 500 GT. The all-aluminium hull is lightweight and fuel-efficient, allowing the yacht to access shallow areas in secluded bays. Spanning four decks, the layout centers around the master suite on the upper deck, featuring a 180-degree view and private terrace. The yacht accommodates 12 guests in five VIP cabins and nine crew members.
50 m Sanlorenzo 50 Steel MY Almax
Almax is the first fuel-cell-powered 50 Steel superyacht. The fuel-cell technology converts biomethanol into electricity, allowing the yacht to sit at anchor emission-free. Sanlorenzo estimates this could cover up to 90% of typical usage time with zero emissions. The yacht features a Hidden Engine Room design, creating a 150-square-meter "Ocean Lounge" beach club with a pool and unfolding sea terraces. The split-level layout offers impressive head heights.
45 m Alia Yachts MY San
Styled by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and Lateral Naval Architects, San emphasizes al fresco socializing with a fully open main deck from stern to bow and folding aft bulwarks. The raised pilothouse, constructed with full-height glass facades, offers an unparalleled open feeling. The yacht has four guest cabins and an owner’s stateroom on the lower deck, with a contemporary interior design tailored to the owners’ preferences. San completed sea-trials in June 2024 before handed over to the owners.
38 m Custom Line Navetta 38 MY Telli
Launched in January 2024, MY Telli is part of the Navetta 38 series, featuring a hybrid power option to attract eco-conscious buyers. The yacht maximizes space across its four decks, with a large master suite and four guest cabins. The Custom Line Navetta 38 is the newest addition to the yard’s Navetta range, representing a fresh approach to the highly successful model lineup. As a successor to the outgoing Navetta 37, this yacht continues the tradition of excellence while introducing innovative features and enhancements.
44 m Cantiere Delle Marche Flexplorer 146 Maverick
Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, Maverick features a superstructure-forward and toys-to-the-aft deck design. Named after Tom Cruise’s call sign in Top Gun, the yacht includes a custom-built A-frame crane, collapsible bulwarks, an ice belt for navigating icy waters, a transom swimming pool, and an asymmetrical layout on the main deck. The full-beam configuration on the starboard side expands the salon area, creating a seamless service passageway. MY Mavericjk was launched in November 2023 in Ancona, Italy
These impressive yachts showcase the latest in luxury, innovation, and design, making the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show an event to remember.
