ONE-OFF 43 LAUNCHED
Following the recent launch of the Darwin 86 Alexa, Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) is excited to announce the successful launch of the One-off 43 Project B2, much to the delight of her owners. This fully custom project epitomizes CdM’s commitment to quality and innovation in the explorer yacht market.
Vasco Buonpensiere, Co-founder and CEO of CdM, shared his enthusiasm: “Our intense activity, on all fronts, is under everybody’s eye. At CdM, we are unwaveringly dedicated to delivering the highest quality and exceptional service to our clients. Our clientele consists of some of the most experienced and well-informed individuals in the yachting community, and we strive to exceed their expectations. This one-off project is perfectly aligned with CdM’s approach to explorer yachting. It seamlessly integrates and interprets in an original form the finest elements from CdM's ranges of semi-custom explorer yachts, Darwin Class, Flexplorer, RJ, and Deep Blue. This project leverages our extensive expertise and the invaluable insights of the Owners, a beautiful family who entrusted us to bring their vision of a new explorer yacht to life, tailored precisely to their specifications."
Design and Technical Excellence
Project B2, designed by Francesco Paszkowski, showcases elegant exterior lines that are both awe-inspiring and functional. The yacht strikes a balance between comfortable interior living spaces and the robust build necessary for exploring remote destinations. Paszkowski’s design includes grand exterior deck spaces offering guests maximum privacy and an open, uninterrupted feel.
The bright interiors, also designed by Paszkowski, exude refined elegance, combining sophistication with an inviting atmosphere.
Luxurious and Functional Accommodation
The main deck features a wide-body configuration from midship forward, accommodating four large suites for guests. Two additional guest cabins are located on the Lower deck amidship. The crew benefits from spacious quarters on the Lower deck forward, with the Captain’s cabin situated on the Upper deck next to the wheelhouse. The Upper deck forward stores tenders and jet-skis, while a chase boat is available for coastal exploration and comfortable transfers.
For guest comfort, a large beach club with a sauna and hammam is located at the far end of the Lower deck, next to a large swim platform that includes a day toilet.
Robust and Efficient Performance
Project B2 features a robust, over-engineered displacement steel hull and a light aluminum superstructure, ensuring excellent seakeeping and frugal fuel consumption. The yacht is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines, each delivering 746 kW, and has a fuel capacity of 60,000 liters, allowing for a top speed of 14 knots and a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
