Created to a design of Ferretti Group, 450 has a Planing GRP hull and GRP superstructure driven by 2 x CUMMINS QSB 6,7 engines to a maximum speed of 31 knots while comfortably cruising at 27 knots. The Ferretti Yachts 450 has been presented at the Cannes boat show in 2016. The silhouette of the new flybridge, at an overall length of 13.7 metres (45 feet), features sensible yet dynamic lines, matching the look of its big sister the 55-foot model, providing the sporty look which currently defines the brand's style. The three large full-height windows with flush glued portholes, are featured on the new design for the fleet below 80 feet in length. Their size offers a fantastic amount of natural light in the areas belowdeck. The large flybridge provides the yacht with even more personality, also thanks to a new decorative element in “Vulcan Grey” at its base, combined with a second one lower down, towards the bow, behind the cockpit. Two different layouts are available on the lower deck, with two or three cabins.
The Ferretti Yachts 450 is fitted with twin Cummins engines, either the 480 Mhp QSB 6.7 or 550 Mhp QSB 6.7 models. The first option provides a cruise speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 29 knots. With the more powerful engines, a maximum speed of 31 knots, with a cruising speed of 27 knots.
