Viareggio, July 10, 2025 – Within the refined setting of the newly refurbished Maiora Deck Lounge in Via Coppino 114, Maiora – a brand of Next Yacht Group – unveiled its groundbreaking new model: the Maiora 42 Exuma, a 42-meter yacht that redefines the onboard experience and ushers in a new paradigm of contemporary yachting.

Conceived from real observation of life at sea and the evolving expectations of discerning owners, the 42 Exuma breaks free from traditional layouts and conventions. Guest cabins are elevated to the main deck, oversized salons are replaced with fluid, lived-in spaces, and crew areas are significantly enhanced for both efficiency and comfort. The result is a yacht that abandons rigid stratification and restores the essence of yachting: time, freedom, and the human experience.

“When onboard experience is designed properly, the yacht becomes transparent to the eyes of the owners. From this seed, the 42 Exuma was born — a new era of living at sea, surpassing outdated conventions. It is a paradigm shift reminiscent of the transition from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance,”
said Sebastiano Fanizza, CEO of Next Yacht Group.

A Visionary Collaboration

The Maiora team, designer Giorgio Maria Cassetta (exteriors), and ELIE SAAB (interiors, under the creative direction of Carlo Colombo – A++) joined forces to craft a yacht where elegance, performance, and livability converge.

  • Exteriors by Cassetta Yacht Designers emphasize sleek surfaces, uninterrupted glass, and fluid proportions that blur boundaries between inside and out.

  • Interiors by ELIE SAAB Maison bring couture sophistication to the sea, blending fine marbles, bronzed mirrors, and bespoke furnishings with marine-ready functionality.

“For us, this boat is not just a technical project, but an emotional object — a dream where every detail is designed to deliver a refined and unique experience,”
noted Giorgio Maria Cassetta.

“With the 42 Exuma, ELIE SAAB extends its vision of luxury lifestyle to yachting, creating immersive spaces where design, precision, and comfort converge,”
added Elie Saab Jr., CEO of ELIE SAAB Group.
