Baglietto Launches "Barbara Anne": The Sixth Motor Yacht in the DOM133 Line

La Spezia, 24 April 2024 – Baglietto continues its high-paced launching season with the introduction of "Barbara Anne," the sixth hull in the DOM133 line. The yacht, with exterior designs by Stefano Vafiadis, was launched on 23 April in Carrara harbour in the presence of the Owner. After the launch, the yacht was moved to La Spezia for the completion of fitting-out operations. The sale of "Barbara Anne" was facilitated by Northrop & Johnson Fort Lauderdale.

Design and Features: "Barbara Anne" retains the innovative design features first introduced with hull No. 10246 of the DOM133 line, focusing on maximizing openness and ensuring close contact with the sea. A key design change includes moving the main deck ventilation ducts outside, allowing for uninterrupted full glazing on the left side of the main saloon. The upper deck boasts two floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto side balconies, enhancing the connection with the surrounding environment. The aft section features a distinctive two-level pool with the yacht’s logo engraved on the bottom, while the sun deck pool is fully custom-designed for this unit.

Interior Design: Leonardo Santi's interior design takes inspiration from automotive aesthetics, incorporating colors reminiscent of iconic car brands. Guest cabins on the lower deck feature bold Ferrari red, green, and blue, along with Lamborghini orange, creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. The wheelhouse is particularly striking, with a bronze-coated carbon top and grille inserts that echo sports car designs.

The interior palette is dominated by warm cream and bronze tones, complemented by light-shade wood, both smooth and striped, with LED inserts and bronze-coated finishes. This combination creates a contemporary, refined elegance throughout the vessel. The central staircase, made of striped wood with LED inserts, is crowned by a bespoke chandelier by Paolo Castelli, adding a touch of luxury. All indoor and outdoor furniture is by Minotti, featuring custom fabric for a unique finish.

Performance: "Barbara Anne" is powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines, allowing the aluminium displacement yacht to achieve a maximum speed of 17 knots, combining performance with the luxurious comfort expected from the DOM133 line.

This launch marks another milestone in Baglietto’s successful series of luxury yacht launches, highlighting the shipyard’s commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and elegance. "Barbara Anne" is a testament to Baglietto's ability to blend cutting-edge design with the highest levels of performance and comfort.
