Sixth Sale of 2024: Flexplorer 165 Sold to European Yachtsman

Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) proudly announces the sale of its largest explorer yacht to date, the Flexplorer 165, marking the sixth sale of 2024. This milestone exemplifies CdM's commitment to excellence and innovation in the nautical industry.

A Testament to Excellence

"The news of the sale of our sixth explorer yacht in three months speaks volumes. Amidst the ebb and flow of the nautical industry, we are reaping the rewards of our enduring commitment to quality and precision," says Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of CdM. "The sale of the Flexplorer 165 represents a new chapter in our shipyard's prowess."

Resilience in a Challenging Market

"While the tide of the nautical market is in descent, CdM remains steadfast, weathering every challenge with grace and determination. We are bucking the trend with impressive commercial successes for a shipyard of our size," Buonpensiere continues. "When the market goes down, only the best and most reliable products stand the test of a crisis. Our explorer yachts have earned a great reputation for their quality and innovative design."

Unparalleled Design and Features

"The Flexplorer 165 is not just distinguished by her breathtaking design or state-of-the-art features, but by the shipyard's values she embodies," adds Ennio Cecchini, co-founder and President of CdM.

With a total length of just under 49.90 meters, a beam of 9 meters, and a gross tonnage shy of 500 GT, the Flexplorer 165 showcases the unmistakable exterior design by Sergio Cutolo/Hydro Tec, who will also handle the yacht’s naval architecture and complex engineering. The interiors, crafted by Hus Studio, will feature their signature style of understated elegance, transcending fleeting trends to offer a timeless design.

Advanced Features and Capabilities

The Flexplorer 165 will feature an impressively large and powerful A-frame crane with a lifting capacity of over 4.5 tons, capable of handling a large tender and multiple water toys. Propelled by twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines, delivering 970 kW each, this explorer yacht is built for performance and reliability.

Ready for Charter

The owner has already decided that the Flexplorer 165 will be offered on the charter market. With her ocean-going capabilities, extraordinary long-range endurance, reliability, and comfort, this vessel will provide charterers with an unparalleled cruising experience.

Stay tuned for more information on this exciting project as it becomes available!
