One may be confused about what Motopanfilo means? 'Moto Panfilo' means a ‘Motor Yacht’ in Italy. A name is a cast back to glamour 1960s when only nobles and rock stars could afford a new motor yacht. So, it as a new flame to the old name. A 37 m Benetti promises to be an instant classic as it is a combination of modern-retro looks with ultra-modern technological solutions. Benetti called designer Francesco Struglia to create Motopanfilo profile while Rome-based Lazzarini Pickering Architetti was in charge of the interior. The range is 3,800 nautical miles meaning that she can cross the Atlantic to spend summer in the Med and winter in the Caribbean if the owner prefers to stay at sea during all year. The choice for the engines is twin diesel MAN V12 of 1,400 or 1,650 horsepower, both of which are quiet and economical.
