AMELS FULL CUSTOM PROJECT “TANZANITE” ENTERS FINAL OUTFITTING STAGE

Vlissingen, 2025 – Amels has reached a major milestone with the launch of Project Tanzanite, the largest new-build Amels superyacht to date. Following her recent floating and dock launch, the 120-metre full custom yacht has now entered the final outfitting phase at the Amels main shipyard facilities in Vlissingen City.
Originally arriving in the Netherlands in June 2023 after her hull was launched at Damen’s Galati facility in Romania, the 6,083 GT vessel represents a landmark project for Amels and Damen Yachting.
Over the next year, more than 1,000 craftsmen and women – from the Damen Yachting team as well as a global network of specialist suppliers – will continue their work towards her scheduled 2026 completion.
Designed by Espen Øino, Project Tanzanite showcases a striking exterior profile. As with all full custom builds, details of her interior remain confidential.
