Transforming the Yacht Commissioning Experience
Princess Yachts, the UK’s largest luxury yacht builder, today announces the launch of the industry’s first fully immersive 3D yacht configurator – a groundbreaking digital innovation set to redefine how clients design and commission their yachts. The new tool will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show this September, before being rolled out across Princess Yachts’ headquarters and global distributor network.
A NEW ERA OF INTERACTIVE DESIGN
The configurator allows owners and prospective buyers to explore their yacht in a fully interactive 3D environment, offering unparalleled insight into layout, design, and lifestyle potential. Clients can:

Walk through every deck and configurable space.

Personalise materials, finishes, and colour palettes.

Select exterior paint in both Standalone and Azure sprays.

Experiment with interior and exterior lighting schemes.
Every choice is visualised in real time, enabling clients to experience their vision on board with a level of clarity previously unavailable in yacht commissioning.
DYNAMIC ANIMATION BRINGS YACHTS TO LIFE
Beyond static design, the configurator features seven distinct animation sequences, allowing users to simulate life on board:

Saloon television rise and activation.

Interactive deck and lounge features.
These sequences transform design into lifestyle, showing owners exactly how their customised yacht will function in everyday use.
CINEMATIC PRESENTATION & BESPOKE MOVIES
Configurations can be placed within beautifully rendered environments, providing context for both real-time exploration and cinematic presentations. Owners can also generate bespoke movies of their yacht, showcasing layouts, finishes, and features in striking visual detail.
