Amels 60 MEMORIES Departs for Busy Charter Season

Vlissingen, June 10, 2025 – The Amels 60 MEMORIES has officially departed Damen Yachting’s main Amels facility in Vlissingen following final delivery to her Owner, marking the beginning of a busy charter season ahead.

Naming Ceremony

Immediately prior to delivery, the 60-metre Limited Editions yacht was officially christened MEMORIES during a private ceremony at the Dutch shipyard, attended by the Owner’s team and crew.

“The construction of a yacht is a remarkable journey of craftsmanship and innovation. The delivery of this vessel to its Owner marks the culmination of dedicated teamwork, meticulous attention to detail, and a shared passion for excellence. More than just a yacht, this is a vision realised,” said Rory Moran. “On behalf of our entire organisation, congratulations on the delivery of this spectacular vessel. We also commend the Damen Yachting Team for their outstanding work and partnership on another successful Amels 60 Limited Editions project.”

Design & Custom Interiors

As with all Amels 60s, MEMORIES features exterior design by Espen Øino International, with the series’ signature geometric windows and contemporary styling. She is the first Amels 60 to showcase interiors by Harrison Eidsgaard, marking the design studio’s debut collaboration with the Limited Editions range.

The interiors introduce a fresh interpretation of beach house luxury, combining natural materials, warm tones, and sophisticated detailing. A standout feature is the dramatic spiral staircase with an illuminated inset handrail.

“It has been an absolute delight working on this superyacht and a great collaboration with all partners involved,” commented Ben Harrison of Harrison Eidsgaard. “MEMORIES is our first Amels Limited Editions interior and brings a new look and feel to this successful 60-metre design.”

Fast-Track Delivery

The Owner, introduced by Moran Yacht & Ship, entered the project just six months prior to delivery—a timeline made possible by the Amels Limited Editions concept. Despite the advanced stage of construction, the Owner implemented a number of customisations, including:

A redesigned Sun Deck with sofa lounge, drop-down TV, and bar replacing the original dining area.
A transformed Bridge Deck Aft into an on-deck cinema.
Enhancements to the Beach Club and Owner’s areas.

Project Manager Joppe Osté explained:

“When the Owner stepped in, we were already at an advanced stage of construction. The new Owner was able to make decisions quickly, allowing us to deliver in time for summer. The flexibility of the Limited Editions platform, combined with the appeal of the Harrison Eidsgaard interiors, made this possible without delaying the build schedule.”

Charter-Ready Adventure

At 60 metres and 853 GT, MEMORIES accommodates 12 guests and 12 crew plus Captain, blending private use with a strong charter focus. Her upcoming season begins in Ibiza before embarking on a busy Mediterranean schedule, following in the successful footsteps of sisterships ENTOURAGE and COME TOGETHER.
