Heesen Delivers Bespoke 55m Steel Superyacht Solemates to Repeat Client

Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts has announced the delivery of the 55-metre steel superyacht YN 20655, Solemates, on April 30, 2025. Built on Heesen’s proven 55m Steel platform, this yacht reflects both the confidence of a repeat client and the flexibility of Heesen’s speculative build program.
Styled by Omega Architects with a Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen, Solemates delivers comfort, performance, and a sleek exterior. The yacht was heavily customised through close collaboration between Luca Dini Design & Architecture, Heesen’s in-house team, and the owner’s representatives, resulting in a yacht that is uniquely tailored for family life and extended cruising.
Interior highlights include a custom-designed staircase embedded with gold flakes and crystals, a vibrant new colour scheme, and an enlarged sundeck jacuzzi ideal for entertaining. The yacht’s 760 GT volume allows for spacious layouts and innovative features such as a dramatic atrium centerpiece.
Project Manager Ralf Oortman praised the owner's deep involvement and efficient decision-making, calling the process “exceptional.” The yacht will make its official debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show and will be available for select charters through Luxury Yacht Group.
CEO Niels Vaessen commented, “Delivering Solemates to a valued returning client showcases the best of Dutch craftsmanship and our commitment to high-quality, personalised superyachts.”
