The launch of the first Amels 80 superyacht on 30 April 2025 marks a major evolution in Damen Yachting’s Limited Editions series, showcasing a new benchmark in luxury, customisation, and sustainability. Known as Amels 8001, this 80-metre yacht represents a bold step forward in both design and engineering.

Exterior Design: By world-renowned Espen Øino, emphasizing sleek, modern lines and balanced proportions.
Interior Design: By Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design — their first collaboration with Amels — focused on natural materials, neutral tones, and fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Naval Architecture: In-house by Damen Yachting.

Performance & Sustainability

Hybrid Propulsion: Reduces emissions and noise, enhancing efficiency and reflecting Amels' commitment to sustainable yachting.
Range: 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Gross Tonnage: 2,175 GT — delivering enormous interior volume for guest comfort and amenities.

Accommodations & Amenities

Guests: 14 across 7 suites.
Crew: 21 plus the captain.
Owner's Deck: Private with stunning panoramic views.
Wellness-Centered Features:
- Beach club with spa, sauna, gym, hammam, and massage room
- 6.5m swimming pool
- 200m² Sun Deck
Helipad: Fully equipped foredeck helipad for touch-and-go operations.

Build & Delivery

Launched: April 2025 in Vlissingen, the Netherlands.
Delivery Expected: Summer 2025.
Owner Representation: Managed by Burgess, who sold the yacht just six months after the Amels 80 design was announced.
