Heesen Unveils the Stunning "Iris Blue," First Yacht of 2024
Oss, the Netherlands – January 2024 – Heesen Yachts proudly announces the delivery of "Iris Blue," the inaugural yacht of their newly restyled 55-meter series. This milestone not only marks the first delivery of 2024 but also highlights the exciting evolution of this series.

A Refined Exterior by Omega Architects
The yacht's revised exterior, crafted by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, maintains the series' recognizable character while introducing captivating new elements. Larger, uninterrupted floor-to-ceiling glass panels in the main saloon and continuous sheets of tinted glass give the yacht a contemporary and expansive feel. These enhancements, along with elongated horizontal lines, contribute to a sleek and elegant profile.
Innovative Owner's Quarters by Luca Dini Design & Architecture
Luca Dini Design & Architecture has transformed the owner's experience by adding a private veranda on the starboard side of the stateroom. This unique feature offers unparalleled privacy and a connection to the outdoors within the spacious 78 sqm area. Additional updates include new walk-in wardrobes for enhanced convenience.
Enhanced Layout for Improved Functionality
The revised layout features a larger sundeck with a bar conveniently located near the forward whirlpool. The main deck now includes a modernized central atrium with a wider and upgraded main staircase. An additional companionway from the wheelhouse deck to the sundeck improves crew access.
