Horizon Yachts to Unveil New FD Series Superyacht Designs at Boot Düsseldorf

Kaohsiung, Taiwan (January 4, 2024) — Horizon Yachts is gearing up for an exciting reveal at the 2024 Boot Düsseldorf boat show, known as the "world’s largest boat show," running from January 20-28. At Hall 7a, Booth G23, Horizon will present the latest designs for the FD80 and the highly anticipated FD100 superyachts, catering specifically to the European market.

Introducing the FD80

Scheduled for launch at the 2024 Horizon Open House in March, the new FD80 boasts a multi-functional layout that enhances its already impressive volume. This model offers accommodation for guests in four spacious staterooms, including a full-beam, on-deck master suite and three large staterooms on the lower deck, two of which are convertible. Crew members have dedicated quarters aft of the engine room, accessible via a private stairwell from the main salon.

The main deck of the FD80 showcases Horizon's design flexibility, featuring a removable dining table on the aft deck, a convertible breakfast/dining table in the salon, and a large galley forward to port that can be closed off for privacy. The bridge deck, a favorite among owners, includes an enclosed wheelhouse with a dayhead, a convertible dinette, and a split-use skylounge with a bar area. This space is equipped with a fold-down TV, teppanyaki grill, ice maker, refrigerator/freezer, and fixed bar stools. Additional amenities include a large Jacuzzi tub with a bar counter, ample storage, and a spacious area for the tender.

Previewing the FD100

Set for a 2025 launch, the tri-deck FD100 is a marvel of contemporary style and functionality. This model features five staterooms, including a full-beam, on-deck master suite, mirrored VIPs, and convertible twins on the lower deck. The yacht also includes spacious crew quarters for seven. The aft garage stores the tender, freeing up space on the bridge deck. The main salon offers a dayhead, a formal dining area, and flexible seating arrangements, while the galley provides an interior stairwell to the crew quarters. The master stateroom includes a his-and-hers ensuite.

The bridge deck features a configurable wheelhouse with a dayhead and an open or enclosed skylounge. The skylounge includes a bar and L-shaped seating/dinette, leading to the boat deck with a large dining table, wet bar, and U-shaped seating. The uppermost deck is designed for relaxation, with twin sunbeds, a wet bar, and ample seating.
