THIRD PERSHING GTX116 UNIT LAUNCHED: A PERFECT BLEND OF ELEGANCE AND SPORTINESS
Fano, January 17, 2024 – The third unit of the Pershing GTX116 has been launched, continuing the model’s success and solidifying its reputation for combining elegance, performance, and a strong sporty character. This new yacht, christened “BYEEE...”, was built for a European owner, a devoted fan of the Ferretti Group, marking his second purchase of one of their luxury vessels. The launch underscores Pershing's commitment to revolutionizing the cruising experience with a yacht that pushes the boundaries of comfort and liveability.
Design and Exterior
The third Pershing GTX116 unit boasts a sleek, streamlined silhouette that echoes the brand's sporty heritage, with design elements inspired by luxury SUVs, identifying the yacht as a true Sport Utility Yacht (SUY). Measuring over 35 meters in length and 7.70 meters in beam, this yacht features a sophisticated and elegant exterior. The superstructure and sundeck are finished in classic Pershing grey, while the hull and sunpad areas sport a metallic anthracite color, a darker and more innovative shade than previous units. The lateral terrace and hardtop are rendered in an elegant dark grey, complementing the overall design. Extensive glazing floods the interiors with natural light, enhancing the intimate connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Interior Layout
The main deck of the GTX116 is home to a spacious saloon, meticulously designed to amplify the sense of space and sophistication. The saloon features a large dining table with a leather top and dark brown upholstery, complemented by a saddle caffé Poltrona Frau sofa, which contrasts beautifully with the pale beige and grey decor. The taupe oak parquet floor by Listone Giordano adds warmth to the interior, creating a cozy yet luxurious atmosphere. The galley, equipped with a fridge and freezer, maintains the color palette of the saloon, using shades of titanium and grey for the cupboard doors. The owner opted to keep the galley separate from the living space, maintaining distinct areas for different functions.
Outdoor Spaces
The cockpit area is designed for relaxation and socializing, featuring a large teak table and an adjustable-height bench. A spacious sunpad is located just aft, while below, a separate beach area with sun loungers offers a perfect setting for unwinding close to the water. The bow area features a generous sunpad, two removable tables, and a small bar with two fridges, replacing the 6-person Jacuzzi available on previous units.
The lower deck houses three guest cabins and a luxurious master cabin, featuring a Poltrona Frau double bed with a crow black headboard and slate-colored finishings. The decor contrasts dark and pale shades, harmonizing with the taupe-colored headboard and other furnishings. The master bathroom is a design marvel, offering three distinct interior areas, two regular showers, a central waterfall shower, and an aluminum herringbone mosaic by Metalborder, which adds a touch of luxury.
Beach Club and Sundeck
The yacht’s garage accommodates a jet ski and two water toys, while the 39-square-meter beach club features a teak deck and an electro-hydraulic taffrail that opens to connect the beach area with the swim platform, creating an expansive space at the water's edge. The 40-square-meter sundeck, accessible via two outdoor stairways from the stern, is furnished with modular sofas by Minotti, offering a convivial yet refined space to enjoy life on board.
Performance
The third Pershing GTX116 unit is powered by a triple water jet propulsion system. It can be paired with three optional MAN V12 2000 engines, each delivering 2,000 mhp, enabling the yacht to reach a top speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 29 knots. The standard configuration includes three MAN V12 1800 engines rated at 1,800 mhp.
This third unit of the Pershing GTX116 continues to embody the brand’s dedication to innovation, comfort, and high performance, offering an unparalleled yachting experience that merges sportiness with luxurious liveability.
