A SPECTACULAR EXPERIENCE OF PERFORMANCE, DESIGN, AND SPORTINESS: INTRODUCING PERSHING GTX80, THE SECOND MODEL IN THE GTX RANGE

Mondolfo, 23.01.2024. Pershing is proud to unveil the Pershing GTX80, the latest addition to the GTX range, representing the perfect fusion of fun, control, and unmatched supremacy on the water. Following the success of the GTX116, launched in spring 2023, the GTX80 continues the legacy of raising onboard comfort and liveability to unprecedented levels, all while maintaining the extreme sportiness and high performance that define the Pershing brand.

This exceptional yacht is the result of a collaborative effort between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, Vallicelli Design, and the Group’s Engineering Department. Built at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility, the GTX80 showcases advanced technologies and Pershing’s signature craftsmanship, creating a true masterpiece of nautical design.

Key Features:

  • Dimensions: Approximately 24 meters in length with a 5.80-meter beam.
  • Capacity: Two decks and a sportbridge, accommodating up to 8 guests in a four-cabin layout, with additional space for two crew members.

Exterior Design and Main Features: The GTX80’s exterior is a study in volumetric balance, with the hull’s near-vertical bow and sleek sheer-line reflecting Pershing’s distinctive style. The bow and stern bulwarks feature innovative design elements, including a longitudinal slot and terraces that fold down to increase contact with the sea. The stern platform, which offers three positions, is a multifunctional feature used to extend the aft living area or launch tenders.

The sundeck is notably spacious, offering 23 square meters of space—60% larger than the category average—while maintaining a sleek profile thanks to the dynamic arch-shaped deckhouse and an optional carbon fabric hard-top that lightens the superstructure and ensures maximum performance.

Interior Design and Layout: The interiors of the GTX80 embody Pershing’s dynamic cruising style, bringing owners and guests closer to the sea. The main deck saloon features expansive glazing that enhances visual contact with the water. The interior design focuses on conviviality, with a partially full-beam saloon offering improved liveability. The open galley-bar layout seamlessly connects the saloon with the cockpit, creating a cohesive and welcoming space.

The interior decor is highlighted by sculptural architecture, intersecting diagonal LED lights, and custom finishes. The master cabin is clad in cloud-effect sky blue leather, offering a luxurious and personalized environment. The cabins are designed for maximum privacy, with separate access to the crew quarters, hidden from view under the staircase to the flybridge.

Material choices throughout the yacht evoke the elements—steel, water, and electricity—enhanced by three-dimensional finishes that change with the viewer’s perspective. The raised helm station in the bow provides 360-degree visibility, with a huge, pillarless windshield and an openable sunroof for natural ventilation.

Propulsion and Technology: The GTX80 is powered by three 1,000 mhp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1350 engines, reaching a top speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots (preliminary data). The yacht will be certified under CE Class A, the highest safety standard for boats under 24 meters.

With the introduction of the Pershing GTX80, the brand once again sets the benchmark for performance, design, and sportiness in the world of luxury yachts, continuing to lead the way in innovative nautical craftsmanship.
