Project Venus, the latest addition to the successful 55 Steel series, boasts an impressive length overall of 55 meters and a generous internal volume of 760 GT. As the sole 55-meter superyacht built in Northern Europe currently available on the market, Venus presents a unique opportunity for discerning clients seeking a yacht with Dutch pedigree, crafted to the highest quality standards, and featuring a shortened delivery time.
Heesen, at the turn of the century, pioneered the construction of superyachts in small series on speculation, optimizing material procurement, streamlining the building process, and reducing delivery times without compromising the exclusivity associated with yachts of this caliber. For clients prioritizing the finest quality, efficiency in performance, sturdiness, security, and comfort in varying sea conditions, Venus stands as an ideal choice. This 55m Steel yacht provides the perfect platform for creating memorable experiences with family and friends.
Powered by two MTU4000 M63 (IMO Tier III) engines, Venus achieves a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and boasts a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13 knots, with a frugal fuel consumption close to 210 liters per hour (excluding the hotel load). Despite its steel construction with a displacement of approximately 600 tons at half load, Heesen's meticulous weight management, typically developed for lightweight, fast aluminum yachts, has been successfully applied to Venus. This approach, combined with the advanced Fast Displacement Hull form by van Oossanen, results in impressive performance across the entire speed range.
Venus features a unique interior design penned by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, providing a strong, daring identity that balances audacity with warmth and comfort. With Heesen's in-house fine cabinet-making workshop, the yacht's interior design thrives on contrasts and offers a unique harmony, showcasing the excellence of Heesen's craftspeople.
Accommodating twelve guests in six spacious staterooms, Venus includes owners' quarters on the main deck forward, spanning 82 square meters with a private veranda for direct access to the open air.
The carefully considered 252 square meters of outdoor areas provide ideal spaces for al fresco dining, entertaining, and relaxation. The 110-square-meter sundeck, featuring a luxurious whirlpool, stands out as a highlight, offering versatility and a well-designed layout for optimal crew service.
Venus is equipped with a bridge deck aft terrace hosting a bespoke expandable round table for al fresco dining, seamlessly connected to the sky lounge through flush sliding doors. The main deck aft terrace connects to the fixed swim platform, leading to a remarkable beach club with a wellness area, sauna, day head, shower, and a fully serviced bar.
Every aspect of Project Venus, meticulously designed by Heesen engineers, Omega Architects, and Luca Dini Design and Architecture, serves a purpose. This superyacht is tailored for family cruises or extensive charters, striking the perfect balance between luxury and accessibility to charming ports and small bays. With its sturdy steel hull and well-positioned stabilizers, Venus ensures supreme comfort in all sea conditions, making it an ideal choice for long passages. In essence, Project Venus truly has it all!
