Princess Yachts Reveals Six-Cabin Y95 at the Monaco Yacht Show

Princess Yachts, the UK’s largest luxury yacht manufacturer, has unveiled a new six-cabin configuration of its flagship Y Class model, the Y95, at the Monaco Yacht Show. This debut marks a milestone as one of the first yachts to offer six guest cabins while remaining under the 24-metre load line threshold – a rare achievement that allows up to 14 guest berths in this size category.
Breaking New Ground Under 24 Metres
Measuring 29 metres overall, yet carefully engineered to remain below the 24-metre load line limit, the Y95 uniquely combines the generous space of a larger yacht with the streamlined regulatory advantages of a smaller vessel.
“Achieving six guest cabins within a yacht of this size is a remarkable feat of design and engineering,” said Will Green, CEO of Princess Yachts. “It means the Y95 delivers the volume, comfort and now guest capacity of a much larger yacht, while offering the operational and regulatory advantages of a smaller one – a true game-changer for owners and crews alike.”
Design and Performance
Developed in collaboration with long-standing naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house Pininfarina, the Y95 redefines the aesthetic and performance standards of much larger flybridge motor yachts.
Its wave-piercing hull delivers performance efficiencies and enhanced stability, while a minimal exterior profile showcases the longest hull window ever installed on a Princess yacht. Architectural innovations include an asymmetric flybridge layout, best-in-class interior volume, and extensive opportunities for personalisation.
Six Cabins, Fourteen Guests
The Princess Y95 showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show features a bespoke six-cabin arrangement. A full-beam master stateroom with skylights, ensuite and walk-in wardrobes occupies the forward main deck. On the lower deck, a former full-beam suite has been ingeniously reconfigured into two double cabins with en-suites. These are complemented by two additional cabins, each with convertible double berths and fold-down Pullman beds, creating accommodation for up to 14 guests.
Crew are housed separately in a port captain’s cabin with a single bunk and forward and aft starboard cabins each fitted with twin bunk beds.
Long-Range Comfort
Powered by twin MAN 2,000 mhp V12 engines, the Y95 delivers a top speed of 21–23 knots and a range of over 1,000 nautical miles at slow cruising speed. A fuel capacity of 13,818 litres supports long-distance passages, while advanced hull design ensures quiet, stable and comfortable cruising.
The Y95’s versatile layout features expansive outdoor living areas, a tender garage, and a flybridge designed for entertaining. Interiors are finished to Princess’s renowned high standards, with extensive options for personalisation in materials, finishes and layout.
A Bold New Flagship
“The Y95 demonstrates how Princess continues to push the boundaries of yacht design,” added Will Green. “It is a bold new flagship for the Y Class – delivering class-leading space, seakeeping and style while achieving a regulatory milestone that sets a new benchmark for the industry.”
