Horizon Power Catamarans will showcase a new PC60 and PC68 featuring the popular Portuguese Deck configuration at the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The models also debut a wheelchair-accessible layout option for the PC68 and advanced energy-efficient power systems.
Horizon Power Catamarans to Showcase Portuguese Deck Configuration at FLIBS 2025
Horizon Yachts announces an impressive display at the 66th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 29 – November 2, 2025). The shipyard will present two power catamarans featuring the popular Portuguese Deck layout: a brand new PC60 and a PC68. Additionally, the first-ever wheelchair-accessible layout drawings for the PC68 will be unveiled at the Horizon stand on Face Dock, Slip 608.
PC68: Spacious Layout and Versatile Decks
The PC68 balances a 24ft 6in beam with generous interior volume. Its main deck features an On-Deck Master forward with panoramic windows and a spacious ensuite. The flybridge offers a semi-enclosed layout with twin helm chairs, dining, lounging, and a dayhead, while the boat deck carries the tender and a bar. Forward, the Portuguese Deck converts for seating, sunbathing, or dining. Powered by twin MAN i6 850hp engines, the PC68 achieves a 1,850nm range at 9 knots.
PC60: Second Hull with Portuguese Deck
Making its public debut, the new PC60 is the second hull to feature a Portuguese Deck. The flybridge can be open or enclosed, with helm and navigation to port, passenger settee to starboard, and a dayhead aft. When the tender is launched, the boat deck becomes an entertainment area. The four-stateroom layout includes an On-Deck Master and three cabins in the hulls, with interiors showcasing semi-custom options from The Powercat Company's in-house design team.
Advanced Energy Efficiency
Both the PC68 and PC60 feature Horizon's advanced power package: Victron phosphate batteries paired with Termodinamica variable-speed air conditioning. This system delivers up to 20 hours of cooling on battery power, reduces generator use, and improves energy efficiency by 84%. Remote monitoring and automatic generator start/stop are included as standard across the Horizon Power Catamaran range.
