AB Yachts Accelerates Through May with Record-Breaking Milestones
Viareggio, May 20, 2025 — AB Yachts, a distinguished brand of the Next Yacht Group and a leader in high-performance luxury yachts for over thirty years, is racing ahead in 2025. This dynamic month has seen key achievements, including two yacht launches, the delivery of its new flagship AB 130, and an award win at the prestigious World Superyacht Awards 2025.
AB 100 Steals the Show in Venice
From May 29 to June 2, the AB 100 will headline the Venice Boat Show. This 30-meter icon of performance and design effortlessly reaches 50 knots—or an astounding 60 knots in its Superfast version—while maintaining a quiet, vibration-free cruising experience. Spacious interiors filled with natural light reflect AB Yachts’ commitment to style, comfort, and harmony with the sea.
Award-Winning Performance
On May 3, the AB 110—launched in June 2024—secured the win in the “Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts, 30–39.9 m” category at the 2025 World Superyacht Awards in Venice. The second unit of this model is set to launch by the end of May, entering final outfitting and sea trials soon thereafter.
New Launches and Milestones
On May 19, the fourth unit of the AB 80—a 25.4-meter performance yacht reaching over 55 knots—was launched. Designed for hands-on owners, the AB 80 offers cutting-edge technology, luxury, and control. It also marks the first launch from AB Yachts' newly designated Viareggio Headquarters, now home to outfitting and executive offices, and boasting a tripled production capacity.
Renovation continues across the Group’s facilities, including the new “AB Yachts & Maiora Deck Lounge”—a premium client-facing marina capable of showcasing up to seven yachts afloat from both product lines.
Flagship Delivery: The All-New AB 130
The jewel in AB Yachts’ crown, the AB 130, has been delivered. This 40-meter masterpiece fuses top-tier speed with next-level luxury. Featuring a retractable beach area, an on-demand sea-view pool, and a float-in tender garage, it also boasts Seakeeper stabilizers and a shallow 1.30-meter draft—ideal for navigating coastal shallows without compromising comfort. With waterjets pushing speeds beyond 40 knots, this yacht represents the pinnacle of innovation and performance.
