Ferretti Yachts INFYNITO 80 Launched at New Marina di Ravenna Shipyard

Ravenna, August 1st, 2024 – Ferretti Yachts proudly announces the launch of the first unit of the INFYNITO 80, a groundbreaking vessel set to make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024. This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter in yacht construction at the newly acquired Marina di Ravenna shipyard, which became part of the Ferretti Group in March 2023.

Innovative Design and Sustainable Technology

The INFYNITO 80, joining the ranks alongside the INFYNITO 90, embodies the range’s signature features: environmental consciousness, flexible and innovative layouts, and a strong focus on seamless integration between indoor and outdoor spaces. The yacht’s All-Season Terrace, a standout architectural feature, continues to impress with its versatility and award-winning design, offering an inviting, shaded area that connects effortlessly with the surroundings.

One of the yacht's most remarkable aspects is its extensive covered outdoor space, surpassing the segment average. With a length overall of 23.70 meters (77 ft 9 in) and a maximum beam of 6.32 meters (20 ft 9 in), the INFYNITO 80 provides generous areas for relaxation and socializing, whether on the open or semi-open sundeck, or within the protected spaces beneath the hardtop or superstructure.

The collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, and designer Filippo Salvetti for the exteriors, along with Ideaitalia for the interiors, has resulted in a yacht that combines aesthetic elegance with cutting-edge technology. The F.S.E.A. (Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture) technology integrated into the yacht exemplifies this blend, offering eco-friendly solutions such as a fast displacement hull for fuel efficiency, the use of sustainable materials, and an innovative Energy Bank system that stores solar energy from photovoltaic panels.

Contemporary Design and Luxurious Comfort

The interior of this first INFYNITO 80 unit features a Contemporary design theme, drawing inspiration from the serene tones of the sea. The main deck boasts a spacious salon with twin face-to-face sofas and a ceiling-mounted TV. The forward galley, with its recessed electric window, opens onto the All-Season Terrace, providing a private retreat with a dinette, bar area, and ample seating for relaxation.

The lower deck offers accommodation for eight guests in four luxurious cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom. The crew area, discreetly located amidships, includes two cabins for three crew members, ensuring privacy and comfort for all onboard.

Performance and Range

Powered by optional twin MAN V12 – 1400 mHP engines, the INFYNITO 80 can reach a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. The standard version, equipped with MAN V12 - 1200 mHP engines, offers a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. With its new high-efficiency hull, the yacht boasts an impressive range of 1200 nautical miles at an economy cruising speed of 10 knots.

A New Era for the Marina di Ravenna Shipyard

The Marina di Ravenna shipyard, acquired by Ferretti Group in 2023, is rapidly becoming a cornerstone of the company’s production capabilities. With five production lines dedicated to the Ferretti Yachts and Wally brands, the site will be fully operational by 2025 and already employs a workforce of 200.

The launch of the INFYNITO 80 marks a significant achievement for the shipyard and sets the stage for further innovations and successes in the coming years.
