SUNSEEKER’S 65 SPORT YACHT TRIUMPHS WITH THREE AWARDS AT THE JAPAN INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 2024

Sunseeker's 65 Sport Yacht has clinched three prestigious awards at the 62nd Japan International Boat Show, cementing its status as a top contender in the boating world. This 65-foot sports yacht, first unveiled in 2020, was honoured with the titles of ‘Best Big Boat’, ‘Best Fun’, and ‘Boat of the Year’ at Japan's largest annual boating exhibition.

The Sunseeker 65 Sport Yacht boasts a racing-style helm design that revolutionizes the driving experience. Unlike traditional helming, which merely gets you to a picturesque anchorage, helming this vessel becomes a central joy of ownership, offering that exhilarating 'wind in the hair' sensation.

At the heart of this experience is the SkyHelm™, accommodating two in low-slung Sports seats flanking a carbon fibre central console. This console is no ordinary fixture; it features wireless chargers, a glass-bridge plotter, and retro chrome dials housing LED displays. With the Volvo Penta integrated pilot system for IPS drives, navigation and manoeuvring become effortless.

Moving to the main deck, guests are welcomed into a luminous and lavish interior space. Sliding cockpit doors reveal an opulent interior highlighted by expansive glazing on the port and starboard sides. The yacht's three-cabin layout comfortably hosts up to six guests. A capacious, full-beam owner’s stateroom includes a generously appointed en suite bathroom. Each guest cabin is equipped with its own en suite, and an additional day head below deck ensures convenience for all.

An exceptionally wide tender garage, featuring a fully flush floor, accommodates a Williams 345 jet tender, which can be effortlessly launched via the hydraulic rise-and-fall bathing platform—a groundbreaking feature for this yacht category. The surplus garage space is versatile, capable of storing SeaBobs, inflatable paddle-boards, diving equipment, or customized racking. Complementing these amenities is a meticulously designed Beach Club, complete with an integrated bar and freestanding seating. The open garage door includes twin integrated rain-showers and overhead speakers, creating an ideal setting for waterside gatherings and festivities.

The 65 Sport Yacht is equally impressive on the open water, achieving speeds of up to 38 knots powered by the Volvo Penta IPS-1200 or IPS-1350 engines. This blend of speed, manoeuvrability, efficiency, and dynamic performance makes it a standout in its class.
