The “Showcase of Silence” will feature the global debut of the first PC68 with an On-Deck Master configuration and a brand new PC60 at Ramp 2, Slips 204-206. Exciting New Models
PC68: A Mediterranean Explorer
The Horizon PC68, part of the multi-hulled PowerCat (PC) range which includes the PC52 and PC60, has been meticulously designed to meet the needs of discerning boaters. This ultra-spacious model is available in both Open Salon and On-Deck Master configurations. The first PC68 with the On-Deck Master layout will debut at the show.
The PC68 features a four-stateroom layout with an expansive master suite on the main deck, offering panoramic views through large windows. The starboard hull houses a queen and a twin-to-king convertible guest cabin, while the port hull includes the master ensuite and an additional twin-to-king cabin.
The aft deck highlights the yacht’s 24ft 6in beam, featuring a large alfresco dining area, a bar, and a lounge surrounding an aft pool with a glass transom. The Portuguese deck on the upper deck offers convertible Hi/Lo dinettes for sun beds or dining. The extended flybridge includes ample seating, a dayhead with shower, BBQ station, chest freezer, and a bar with fridge doors and a Scotsman icemaker. A 17ft, 100hp tender is stowed aft.
PC60: Stylish and Functional
The new PC60 on display features an on-deck master stateroom and three additional cabins: an ensuite queen and twin cabin in the starboard hull, and the master ensuite with dual wash basins and a convertible twin ensuite cabin in the port hull.
The main salon offers a large L-shaped sofa and spacious galley with a bar area. The flybridge includes a large settee with a dinette, and can be either open or enclosed, featuring a dayhead. The Victron lithium phosphate battery package powers the Termodinamica variable speed, freon-cooled air conditioning system, allowing for nearly 20 hours of battery-powered comfort.
The PC60’s deck areas are a key feature, with an expansive aft deck, a dining table, and walk-around side decks leading to the foredeck with dual viewing chairs. The flybridge’s boat deck offers additional lounging and entertaining space when the tender is deployed.
Commitment to Silent Cruising
Richard Ford, Founder and CEO of The Powercat Company, states: “We are delighted to introduce our latest PC68 and PC60 models and demonstrate our commitment to silent, generator-free living at this year’s Palm Beach Boat Show. This lithium phosphate battery package allows you to run the entire boat, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and freezers, for nearly 20 hours on batteries alone. Combined with energy-saving features like propane-fueled cooking, solar-powered systems, and large alternators, this package significantly reduces energy consumption while enhancing the cruising experience.”
