Numarine Reveals Scandinavian-Inspired Interiors of 30XP Ahead of 2024 Launch

Istanbul, Turkey – As anticipation builds around its upcoming launch, Numarine has unveiled the interiors of its 30XP model for the first time. Blending minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics with explorer yacht capability, the 30XP represents a key evolution in the Turkish shipyard’s lineup—and introduces diesel-electric propulsion to the range for the very first time.
First announced in September 2022 to celebrate Numarine’s 20th anniversary, the 30XP slots neatly between the 26XP and 32XP, and has already proven a hit with buyers: five units have been sold off-plan ahead of the spring 2024 delivery of hull number one.
Home-Inspired Living at Sea
As with earlier models, renowned designer Can Yalman led the design of the 30XP’s exterior and interior. For select editions, the interior was crafted in collaboration with Ofist Design Studio, creating warm, welcoming spaces inspired by Nordic minimalism.
“We were inspired by a sustainable, Scandinavian design aesthetic that prioritises simplicity, minimalism and functionality,” said Numarine Chairman Ömer Malaz. “We want to offer the feeling of being at home—even when you are far out at sea.”
The interiors emphasize light and openness, with natural materials, floor-to-ceiling windows, and layouts designed to enhance the connection to nature and the sea. A prime example is the master suite’s private balcony and sea-facing office, complete with a wide desk and panoramic views.
Elegant Outdoor Flow
A hallmark of the 30XP is its seamless indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Open-air dining areas grace both the aft deck and sundeck, while the raised deck design creates generous headroom in the beach club, forming a semi-open lounging area just three steps above main deck level.
Three fold-down platforms extend the beach club to 43 square metres, perfect for relaxing or launching water toys. The side-loading tender garage holds a tender up to 6.25 metres.
Space, Comfort, and Performance
The 30XP offers accommodation for 10 guests across five ensuite cabins, including a forward main deck master suite and four lower-deck guest cabins. Crew quarters are forward on the lower deck, providing space for up to five crew including the captain.
Owners can choose between two propulsion setups:
-
Diesel-electric hybrid with four generators and twin electric motors
-
Conventional twin MAN 560hp engines
Both options deliver a maximum speed of 13 knots, with a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles.
Looking Ahead
The 30XP joins a growing fleet of Numarine yachts, now expanded to seven models, with plans underway for a new 45XP flagship and a state-of-the-art waterside facility to boost production. The Istanbul-based builder is currently delivering 12 yachts per year and shows no signs of slowing down.
As Malaz concluded:
“The 30XP is an explorer at heart, but her soul is all about comfort, connection to nature, and sustainable luxury. This model sets a new benchmark—not just for us, but for the entire category.”
