Heesen Yachts is set to make a strong impression at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (October 30 – November 3), following their success at the Monaco Yacht Show. The shipyard, renowned for its cutting-edge aluminium construction and semi-custom yacht offerings, will feature three yachts at the Superyacht Village: Book Ends (2022, 50m), ELA (2021, 50m FDHF), and After You (2011, 55m). These yachts showcase Heesen's unique expertise in aluminium hulls and its ability to deliver fast, sub-500GT vessels with exceptional craftsmanship.

Book Ends and ELA represent Heesen’s semi-custom portfolio, with their owners heavily involved in the personalisation process, from interior designs to custom furniture. In contrast, After You, originally launched as Quinta Essentia, is a full custom project that highlights the longevity and enduring appeal of Heesen's craftsmanship.

Ruud van der Stroom, Heesen's CCO, emphasized the importance of the Fort Lauderdale event, calling it a critical venue for engaging with the brand's largest market—the United States. CEO Niels Vaessen pointed out the increasing demand from American buyers, noting the strong culture of yachting in the U.S. and the vast number of millionaires in the country, which makes it an essential market for luxury yachts. Despite some hesitation from American clients due to the political climate, the company expects the boat show to renew interest once the U.S. election results are confirmed.

Additionally, Heesen will spotlight Project Orion (50m hybrid, available for Q1 2025) and Project Sophia (50m semi-displacement, available for Q1 2026) to underscore their leadership in offering quick delivery on top-quality, innovative designs.
