Heesen Yachts Achieves Major Milestone in Construction of Full Custom 57m Motor Yacht, YN 20857 Project Setteesettanta
Heesen Yachts has achieved a significant milestone in the construction of its full custom 57-meter motor yacht, code-named Project Setteesettanta. This milestone, marked by the joining of the hull and superstructure and the placement of the engines, brings the yacht one step closer to completion. Designed by Omega Architects for the exterior and Cristiano Gatto Design for the interior, the vessel is a showcase of Heesen’s craftsmanship and engineering expertise.
Key features of Project Setteesettanta include its ultra-efficient all-aluminium Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) and shallow draft of 2.3 meters, which make it ideal for exploring coastal and shallow areas. The yacht features four decks, with an exclusive owners’ deck, a touch-and-go helipad, and an observation deck. The enclosed volume reaches 920 GT, providing ample space for luxury living.
The yacht is powered by two MTU 16V2000 engines, allowing for a top speed of 18 knots, and is expected to be delivered in 2026. The design emphasizes both privacy and functionality, with the upper deck reserved for the owner, featuring panoramic views and a private terrace. This project represents a blend of modern luxury and high-performance engineering.
Heesen CEO Niels Vaessen expressed pride in the shipyard’s achievements and gratitude to the experienced yacht owners for entrusting the company with this custom project, reflecting Heesen’s core values of craftsmanship and innovation. The yacht now enters the outfitting phase, moving toward its launch in January 2026.
