Baglietto Sells First Unit of the New FAST50 Line

La Spezia, 26th June 2024 – Baglietto is proud to announce the sale of the first motor yacht in the new FAST50 line, just months after its official presentation. This fast displacement yacht, crafted in light alloy, boasts a design by Francesco Paszkowski Design, who also collaborated with Margherita Casprini on the interiors.

Baglietto's CCO, Fabio Ermetto, stated: "We are thrilled to have secured this sale so soon after the model’s debut. This achievement is a testament to the project's ability to seamlessly blend top-tier performance with timeless elegance, both of which are hallmarks of Baglietto. The FAST50 line exemplifies our shipyard's leadership in the highly customized aluminium performance yacht segment. Powered by four robust engines, this displacement hull can reach impressive speeds without sacrificing the comfort and livability that our clients expect."

Design Inspiration and Features: The FAST50 draws inspiration from the sleek lines of Baglietto’s iconic yachts, including the Pachamama, the Monokini (Compasso d'Oro award winner in 2016), and last year's WSA-winning RUSH. While retaining the distinctive Baglietto aesthetic, the FAST50 also incorporates innovative design elements from the brand’s new direction, beginning with the T52. The stern design is particularly noteworthy, featuring a two-level layout with folding gunwales that transform into a swimming platform. This area, complete with chaise longue sunbeds, offers a luxurious space to enjoy close contact with the sea. A transformer replaces the traditional passerelle, maintaining the yacht’s sleek profile.

Seamless Interior-Exterior Transition: Like the T52, the FAST50 emphasizes a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, highlighted by ceiling-high windows that open on three sides of the upper deck and lower gunwales that maximize the view. The relocation of the ventilation ducts outside, integrated into the hull structure, has allowed for expansive interior spaces, including a main saloon with lounge and TV areas, while the dining area is situated in the sky lounge on the upper deck.

Automotive Influences: Automotive design elements are subtly integrated into the yacht, from the design of the ventilation ducts to the two stern fairleads resembling sports car exhausts. The FAST50, unlike its predecessors, features three full decks and embraces the 'wide body' concept in the master cabin, offering larger volumes without compromising visibility, thanks to silk-screened hull windows that maintain the yacht's streamlined profile.

Generous Outdoor Areas: The upper deck offers spacious outdoor areas both aft and forward of the wheelhouse. The aft section is furnished with sun loungers and sofas, while the forward area includes a conversation space, a private sunbathing area, and a Jacuzzi at the bow, providing breathtaking views in complete privacy.

Accommodations: The lower deck accommodates guests in two VIP and two twin cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms. The forward crew quarters include a large dinette, the Captain's cabin, and four additional cabins with pullman beds.

Tender and Performance: The yacht features an impressive 7-meter tender stored in a float-in garage behind the engine room. Powered by four MTU 2000M96L engines, the FAST50 can reach a maximum speed of 30 knots. The hull is equipped with limited-draught semi-tunnels, ensuring safe navigation even in shallow waters.

This sale marks a significant milestone for Baglietto, reinforcing its position as a leader in the luxury performance yacht market. The FAST50 is set to offer its owner an unparalleled combination of speed, style, and comfort.
