Mondolfo, June 24, 2024 – The Pershing GTX series continues to push the boundaries of luxury yachting with the introduction of the Pershing GTX80. This new model, characterized by its seamless integration of interior and exterior spaces, delivers an unparalleled cruising experience that is both exhilarating and extraordinarily comfortable. With an overall length under 24 meters and a beam of 5.8 meters, the Pershing GTX80 is the latest addition to the GTX series, embodying the brand’s commitment to high performance and sportiness while offering exceptional onboard liveability.
Developed through a collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, Vallicelli Design, and the Group’s Engineering Department, the Pershing GTX80 exemplifies advanced naval design and craftsmanship. The yacht, built at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility, features two decks and a sportbridge, providing luxurious accommodation for up to eight guests across four cabins.
Design and Architecture: The Pershing GTX80 showcases a refined balance between its superstructure and hull, resulting in a strikingly harmonious and innovative architectural design. The yacht's exterior, marked by a near-vertical bow and a slightly convex sheer line, seamlessly blends traditional Pershing style with modern, innovative elements. The hull, finished in classic Pershing grey with darker accents on the superstructure and polished carbon on the hardtop, exudes elegance at first sight.
Main Deck: The main deck is designed for ultimate relaxation and enjoyment of the sea. The stern area is divided into two levels: a 28 m² beach area on the first level with lateral terraces that open electrically, and a raised second level dedicated to a 14 m² cockpit with a dining area. The beach area’s stern platform offers three different positions, enhancing versatility, while a large locker for water toys adds to the yacht’s recreational potential.
The cockpit connects directly to the indoor galley, creating a fluid transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The salon, accessible through sliding doors, offers two layout options: a more informal setting with structural seating along the hull or a formal dining area seating eight guests. The interior design emphasizes the connection with the sea, featuring expansive windows that extend under the lateral walkways, ensuring constant visual contact with the water.
Lower Deck: The lower deck can be customized with either four cabins with en suite bathrooms or a layout that includes a dinette and day head instead of the fourth guest cabin. The full-beam master suite, located midships, is a highlight of the yacht’s interior, featuring luxurious cloud-effect sky-blue leather panelling and a modern lighting design that echoes the aesthetic of the main deck.
Sportbridge: The sportbridge of the Pershing GTX80 offers a spacious sundeck with 23 square meters of space—60% larger than the average in its category. The sleek arch-shaped deckhouse and optional carbon fabric hardtop enhance performance while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic. The sundeck includes a full-beam sunpad, dining area, and an exterior helm station equipped with advanced navigation technology.
Performance and Technology: The Pershing GTX80 is powered by three 1,000 mhp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1350 engines, reaching a top speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots (preliminary data). The yacht is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including the Volvo IPS electro-hydraulic steering system, HUMPHREE trim stabilisers, and optional Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilisers, ensuring a smooth and stable ride. The Pershing GTX80 is CE Class A certified, reflecting its superior design and engineering standards.
