SECOND HULL LAUNCHED OF THE CUSTOM LINE 140’ PLANING FLAGSHIP
The latest Custom Line 140’ hull, a blend of innovative engineering and refined Italian craftsmanship, has been launched at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.
Ancona, July 28, 2023 – The new Custom Line
140’ hull embodies timeless elegance, absolute comfort, and cutting-edge
technology, marking it as the brand’s planing flagship initially revealed last
year in Cannes. The launch, held on June 9, unfolded at the Ferretti Group Superyacht
yard in Ancona, attended by the entire Custom Line workforce.
Crafted by the Ferretti Group Engineering
Department with the design mastery of Francesco Paszkowski Design for both the
interior and exterior styling, the second Custom Line 140’ hull is a testament
to collaborative excellence. The Custom Line Atelier also played a pivotal role
in the interior design, working closely with the customer from the AMAS region
to grasp and reflect their desired style, transforming the yacht into a true
reflection of the owner’s vision.
Boasting a sleek and commanding silhouette,
the Custom Line 140’ stretches 42.61 meters in length with a maximum beam of
8.54 meters. The yacht exudes a distinctively sporty character, characterized
by taut lines sweeping from bow to stern, creating a captivating interplay of
materials and colors. Light-hued structural surfaces harmonize with dark plate
glass, showcasing the new Custom Line flagship’s mastery of naval engineering,
employing innovative carbon fiber lightweighting technology and hybrid
materials for exceptional performance. A defining feature of each space is the
abundant natural light pouring through the expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing,
establishing an intimate connection with the surrounding water.
Drawing inspiration from residential
architecture, the modern, elegant design of both the outdoor and indoor areas
is elevated by meticulous research into enhancing shapes and volumes. The
furnishings and decor, crafted to the owner’s specifications in collaboration with
renowned design brands, feature a selection of sophisticated, high-end
materials. These include the striking Volga Blue ultramarine flake granite, an
array of marbles such as polished Matt Sahara Noir, polished Orobico, or
Calacatta Gold, alongside the rich textures of carbon-finish American Walnut.
A skillful play of color further enriches
the yacht’s aesthetics, infusing it with a fresh and sophisticated ambiance.
Pairings of soft, neutral tones such as taupe, sand, and white seamlessly blend
with bolder, distinctive hues like petrol blue, blue, tobacco, or smoke green,
enhancing the yacht's allure with an air of refined luxury.
