Denison Yachting Announces Sale of Custom 35m Van der Valk Yacht: Project Samba

Fort Lauderdale, FL – June 2023. Denison Yachting has confirmed the sale of Project Samba, a fully custom 35-meter tri-deck superyacht to be built by Van der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands. Represented by Will Noftsinger, the client will take delivery of the 298-GT aluminum yacht in June 2025.
Designed in collaboration with Diana Yacht Design, Ginton Naval Architects, and Guido de Groot for both interior and exterior, Project Samba will embody the elegance of Italian styling, the engineering prowess of Northern Europe, and a uniquely personal flair.
Notable features include:
-
On-deck owner's suite among five luxurious cabins
-
Twin MAN 1450hp engines with Tier 4 US emissions compliance
-
Fast displacement hull enabling speeds up to 17 knots
-
Zero Speed stabilizers, beach club with sauna, and transformer swim platform
-
Expansive crew quarters, with captain’s cabin behind the pilothouse and an engineer’s cabin aft
-
Open-air upper salon and oversized aft deck for seamless indoor-outdoor living
“This was a 12-month global search for the perfect build partner,” said Noftsinger. “Van der Valk stood out for its family-owned spirit, deep customization capacity, and design collaboration. The ability to tweak everything—from hardtop styling to superstructure layout—was key.”
Van der Valk’s Head of Sales Yoeri Bijker added, “Project Samba benefits from our proven hull platform with full customization above the waterline. It’s an efficient and highly tailored way to build a yacht that reflects its owner's identity.”
Project Samba is set to be a standout in her class—blending luxury, innovation, and functionality in a way few yachts under 40m can match.
