Riva 130’ Bellissima: The "Riva Fleet Flagship" Re-enters the Water

La Spezia, January 30, 2023 – Riva proudly announces the launch of the second hull of its largest flybridge model, the Riva 130’ Bellissima. This impressive superyacht, with an overall length of 40 meters, epitomizes Riva's commitment to elegance, craftsmanship, and advanced marine technology.

A Blend of Power and Elegance

The Riva 130’ Bellissima is a magnificent flybridge yacht that combines sleek, sporty lines with generous spaces, offering guests the ultimate onboard experience. Its design draws on Riva's stylistic hallmarks, such as the distinctive counter-curvature of the windows and the use of chiaroscuro to create dramatic light and texture effects. The yacht is the product of a collaboration between Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

State-of-the-Art Construction

Built at Riva’s newly expanded shipyard in La Spezia, which now covers over 39,000 square meters, the Riva 130’ Bellissima is crafted with cutting-edge techniques and materials. The facility includes three buildings with eighteen assembly stations and six testing areas, along with a 300-tonne travel lift and two of the largest advanced technology painting systems in Europe. The recent launch also marked the opening of a new wing dedicated to owner hospitality, enhancing the guest experience with 26 yacht berths and two covered docks.

Design and Features

  • Length: Over 40 meters
  • Beam: 8 meters
  • Decks: Three real decks with a full-wide-body design
  • Gross Tonnage: Under 300 GT
  • Exterior Styling: By Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design

The Riva 130’ Bellissima features extensive outdoor spaces, including a 60-square-meter beach club and cockpit, a forward lounge with a large sun pad, an alfresco dining area for up to ten people on the upper deck, and a relaxation area on the sundeck. The use of carbon fiber, steel, and glass in the hull design adds to its sleek and dynamic appearance.

Luxurious Interiors

Inside, the yacht offers spacious, light-filled environments with large glazed surfaces along the main and upper decks. The interior design is contemporary, featuring elements of steel, polished wood, and leather, blending tradition with modernity. The main deck lounge provides a 270-degree panoramic view and boasts an imposing staircase with polished marble steps, serving as both a functional and architectural centerpiece.

The cabin layout includes:

  • Master Suite: Located on the main deck
  • Guest Cabins: Four cabins on the lower deck, each with en suite bathrooms
  • Crew Area: Three cabins with bathrooms and a large living area, ensuring privacy for both owner and guests

Performance

Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each rated at 2,638 mhp, the Riva 130’ Bellissima achieves a top speed of 22.5 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots.

A Visionary Addition

“The name Bellissima perfectly expresses the spirit of this boat, a true work of art that has been a huge success on all four continents,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “With her sporty but at the same time extremely elegant lines, Riva 130’ Bellissima is the dream yacht of every owner in search of outstanding cruising performance combined with the feeling of being at home.”

Galassi continued, “The success this model is reporting is a credit to Riva's commitment to always designing boats that navigate both in legend and in the future.”

The Riva 130’ Bellissima stands as a testament to Riva’s enduring legacy of luxury and innovation, ready to offer its owners unparalleled adventures and a taste of timeless elegance.
