Heesen Yachts Presents Project Frida
Heesen Yachts is delighted to announce that Project Frida, the latest in its acclaimed 55-metre Steel series, is available for purchase with delivery scheduled for February 2026. Launched at the shipyard in Oss on August 26, 2025, she is currently in the final outfitting phase, presenting a rare opportunity to acquire a brand-new, Dutch-built superyacht ready for an early 2026 season.
Design and Engineering
Project Frida features exterior design by Omega Architects, distinguished by a 'shark tooth' superstructure and floor-to-ceiling windows. The interior, designed by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, harmonises expansive, light-filled spaces with natural wengé wood, creating timeless elegance. Her ultra-stable, fuel-efficient hull delivers comfort across the speed range, complemented by zero-speed and on-the-go stabilisers.
Powered by twin Rolls-Royce MTU 8V diesel engines (1,000 kW each), she achieves a top speed of 15.5 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Equipped with a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, she meets stringent IMO Tier III emission regulations. The yacht complies with Large Yacht Code 3 (LY3) commercial standards.
Interior and Accommodation
The 760 GT interior volume accommodates 12 guests in 6 staterooms. The full-beam owner's apartment includes a study, luxurious bathroom with Calcite Blue stone, and a private veranda. Four guest suites are on the lower deck, with a versatile fifth cabin on the bridge deck. The interior showcases exceptional craftsmanship from Heesen Yachts Interiors, the in-house luxury furniture workshop.
Outdoor Living
The expansive sundeck features a large whirlpool, fully equipped bar, and multiple lounging areas. The sky lounge connects seamlessly to an aft terrace for al fresco dining. The beach club provides direct water access from the large swim platform, perfect for launching water toys.
